After completing his contract in the U.S Army, Investigator JR Turner went on to become a civilian police officer in the Hampton Roads area. He gained extensive experience as his law enforcement career carried on, which led to obtaining expert level knowledge in areas to include but not limited to the patrol division, detective division, warrant office, court room testimony, crime prevention unit, and patrol supervising. Mid-career, JR eventually transitioned to the U.S. Department of Defense, rapidly advancing to become a police lieutenant and academy instructor. He was a subject matter expert and instructed classes on criminal investigations, domestic violence, crime prevention, probable cause, report writing, accident investigations, active shooter response, Virginia firearms certification, defensive tactics, search and seizure, and various other police tactics.
Prior to his civilian career in law enforcement, JR spent 5 years in the United States Army in the Military Police Cores. After his time overseas, JR was selected to join the Ft. Myer Military Police Company, one of the Army’s elite and prestigious companies for which to be selected. While he was there in 1995, The Fort Myer Military Police company won the elusive Brigadier General Jeremiah P. Holland Award, an award given to the all-around best Military Police unit of company-size or smaller in the U.S. Army.
Because Fort Myer was just outside of Washington, D.C., JR’s first opportunities arose to be involved in high-level policing missions. He was the non-commissioned officer in charge (NCOIC) during several of the military police company’s assignments for security and protection for numerous Heads of State and foreign dignitaries during their visits to Arlington National Cemetery and Fort Myer. During these highly regarded assignments, JR had the additional honor of working alongside the United States Secret Service in accompanying them in their duties to protect the Presidents of the United States. In his career, JR met both Presidents George and George W. Bush, President Clinton, and President Obama. JR became a distinguished military police officer during his duty at Fort Myer and was chosen to be one of the two military police officers to represent his company in a local law enforcement competition/event hosted in the Washington, D.C. area.
Investigator JR Turner may be retired from law enforcement, but he is not yet done helping people. He is using his expertise, experience, and resourcefulness in accessing specific tools to investigate your case. With his exemplary military and law enforcement background, as well as his personal experience of private civilian life, his views, perspectives, and compassion are an asset as he investigates a wide variety of cases. Your case will not only be in good hands, but, more importantly, the right hands.
JR Turner is the owner and Chief investigator. Cases are not contracted out to other investigators, as JR takes pride in completing all cases to assure thoroughness and guarantee satisfaction. You deserve the best and I do not settle for anything less.
